Rasini’s Pov

My father, King Virasana was sitting on his throne, probably discussing some important kingdom related matter and these idiot soldiers dragged me into the court despite me repeatedly telling them who I was.

“ Here begins the fun” wart guy mumbled near me.

I shot him a glare, one day I am personally throwing him in dungeon.

“Hail to King Vairasena .” The soldier beside me said in loud voice and everyone including I, bent in respect of King.

He paused his discussion and looked toward soldier waiting for further explanation

“ King, this girl was trying to sneak inside palace, in disguise of a trader.” Rambahadur explained pointing at me

“And this man was trying to steal from kingdom’s storehouse.” Explained another soldier pointing at the wart guy.

My eyes widened , this godly handsome man could be a thief, what has world come to?

“ Princess Rasini, do you want to explain yourself?” My father said in stern voice.

Hearing my father’s voice Rambahdur loosened his grip on me. I turned to look at him only to find his mouth forming an O. I grinned at him sweetly

“I don’t have a whole day princess?”

I took a few steps to reach the centre of the court, and folded my hands politely near my stomach , “ Pitaji, I was only trying to check the security of our kingdom, it was a harmless prank and I almost succeeded, but this wart guy ruined everything.”

My father’s eyes shifted towards the man beside me. And then I heard an unfamiliar voice, “ Prince Kridayan, what were you thinking, troubling another kingdom’s soldiers?”

I blinked my eyes in disbelief, wart man is no one but the Prince of Meitey.

“Hahahaha” he laughed peeling the wart from his face.

Everything around me stood still, as my eyes stopped at his laughing face. It’s not like we have not met but it’s been ages the last time I saw him was when we were children and with god’s grace he has turned into a fine young man.

“ You look so handsome.” I blurted out before I could think. I realised what I said and my fingers started playing with gen of my dress as my eyes scanned every single raised eyes present in the room.

He looked at me in surprise and then grinned, “ Well, it’s not like I am unaware but thank you for the compliment. You, yourself are not less than an apsara (fairy)” saying it he winked at me. For the first time in my life I was tongue tied and stood dumbfounded staring at his face.

“ Prince Kridayan, we are still waiting.” A stern voice commanded.

Prince shrugged his shoulders and continued speaking, “ I was getting bored in palace while waiting for princess, so I decided to check the security of palace as well.”

A loud wave of laughter spread across the court

“ Ram milaye jodi hai dono ki ( the pair is created by god himself)” my father said in between the laughter.
