Kridayan’s Pov

I jumped out of princess Rasini’s chamber window. My eyes found a small wooden stick lying on the ground, I picked it up and started walking towards my chamber, spinning stick between my fingers.

I couldn’t figure why I leaned over her? Her juicy, plump lips were inviting me, and I couldn’t resist an urge to touch them with mine.

I reached my guest chamber, the room was dark only light of moon coming through the window. I directly went and laid on the bed, trying to sleep.

I was deep asleep when I felt something near me. I touched it again and it was as smooth as skin of a snake.

A snake? My eyes immediately opened wide and I sat up in bed with a jump.

But when my eyes adjusted to the darkness, what I had mistaken for a snake looked more like a human arm.

My gaze turned up only to find a pair of beautiful dove eyes staring at me. She blinked at me. I blinked back.

“Are you an owl?” I blurted before my mind could make any sense of the situation.

She narrowed her eyes at me, “ do I look like one to you?”

A sigh left my mouth, “ what is wrong fairy princess?”

She fidgeted with her fingers, “ Will you cancel the wedding?”

My eyes brows drew together, “ why will I cancel the wedding?”

“I slapped you” she reminded me pressing her lips together and something in me wanted to grab her neck and press my lips against her.

what the hell am I thinking? She is my would be wife, how could I do such thing to her?

I shook my head trying to get rid of sinful thoughts, and concentrated on Rasini’s words. I let a palyful smirk play on my lips, “Yes, yes you slapped me , princess of a kingdom,”

I climbed out of bed and took a step away from her,I continue, “ your future husband”

Then I suddenly turn to look at her pointing her finger I accused her, “how could you?” Her eyes were that of worry.

I straightened myself, “Of course this wedding is called off.”

“ You would let our kingdom suffer just for a mere slap?” She tried to convince me

“ Yes of course, a prince’s pride is above everything.” I said trying to control my laugh.

“ what can I do so you will forgive me and won’t break this wedding?” She said. I pretended to think of something.

“ I can do anything.” She added further getting edgy.

I held my hands behind my back and stood in front of her, raising my eyebrow, “ what can you do to win me back?”

“Idea” she snapped her fingers, her eyes lightened up as if she had found solution to every problem of the universe.

I raised my eyebrow further, folding hands on my chest , “ I am all ears.”

“ You can slap me back.” She said, chewing her nails.

I stared at her face, “ or maybe not.”

“ actually” I paused, she looked at me with puppy eyes, “ this could work”

She visibly gulped down and tightly closed her eyes, forwarding her cheek for slap, “ I can take it.” She muttered under her breath.

I giggled and raised my hand to hit her as my hand reached near her cheek, she tightened her entire body and face, “ Rasini you are brave, it’s just a slap it won’t hurt much, breath.” I heard her muttering.

A soft smile graced my lips, she is cute, unknowingly I started caressing her cheek. She slowly opened her eyes and out locked in a long stare.

“ A woman is goddess herself. If a goddess slaps you, it is considered as a blessing, not an insult.” Words left my mouth still caressing her soft cheeks.

My gaze dropped at her lips before I could do anything she pushed me away and ran from there.

The next day morning, I woke up to a letter from Meitey. Informing about the war wedged by Karnavat on Meitey. I had to leave immediately without meeting Rasini.
